Creative Uses of Technology

Just when you think you're all out of ideas for creative uses of technology someone always comes up with another great idea. Today, I stumbled across two: the tweeting @ChicagoCabbie and Heineken's use of the U-Code.

One Chicago cab driver is using Twitter to tweet discounts and lets you know where he is on Google Latitude or Find my Friends. Rashid Temuri tells ARS Technica he sees as much as 90 to 95 percent repeat business from social media clients. Pretty cool, huh? Read the complete story here & take a look at an interview on Tweetheart TV.

The other great find today (thanks Stephanie Wonderlin) is a video about Heineken's use of the "U-code." Ever wonder what you can do with a QR code? I'll leave it the video to do the explaining.
